Online labour market continues growing

The online job market in Vietnam in the third quarter of this year continued the growing trend of 2010 with the increase of 7 percent in labour demand and 12 percent in labour supply in comparison to the previous quarter.

More employed through job placement centres

About 224,000 people have been employed through the system of job placement centres and transaction floors each year during the 2006-2010 period, a rise of five percent compared with the figure before 2005, reported the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA).

Labour planning vital to economy

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said ministries and localities must be more active in predicting labour supply and demand at all levels, and their human resource planning must play a central role in the country's economic planning.
