Hyatt Regency Danang Resort donates Tet gifts to the poor

Employees at the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa have teamed up with the Children of Vietnam to hand Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to 30 poor families in Danang City’s Hoa Quy Ward.

Each family was presented with a gift basket including cake and fruit.

“We are thankful to the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa wanted for doing something special for families to make their holiday a little brighter,” said Nancy Letteri, executive director of Children of Vietnam.

Children of Vietnam is a North Carolina-based charity dedicated to providing aid to disadvantaged children in Vietnam. It supports projects aimed at providing nutrition, healthcare, housing and access to education.

Since opening in 2011, the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa also has supported Children of Vietnam’s Hope System of Care. Through Hope System of Care, Children of Vietnam eases the suffering and expands the horizons of children with disabilities, including those who have been affected by Agent Orange/dioxin.

The support provided by Hyatt Regency Danang covers the costs of life skills and vocational training for 15 young people in Danang City.
