Religious leader pays pre-Tet visit to VFF

Auxiliary Bishop of the Hanoi Archdiocese Chu Van Minh on Jan. 13 paid a visit to the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

Minh spoke highly of the VFF Central Committee’s role of serving as a bridge to convey thought and aspirations of the people to the Party and State, contributing to upholding the great national unity bloc.

Receiving the Auxiliary Bishop, Deputy President of the VFF Central Committee Ha Van Nui highly valued active contributions of the Vietnamese Catholic community and followers of the Hanoi Archdiocese, in particular in national construction and development, especially social and charitable activities to help the poor.

Deputy President Nui said he hopes the Hanoi Archdiocese will continue working closely with the VFF Central Committee to encourage the parishioners to join patriotic emulation campaigns, charitable activities and actively respond to campaigns launched by the VFF Central Committee.

The same day, Nui received representatives from army division 308 under the Ministry of National Defence, who came to extend Tet congratulations./.

PM greets mind of Lao inspectorate
