Vietnamese defence businesses eye French market
Thirty businesses from the Vietnamese Defence Ministry on May 22 attended the France-Vietnam Business Forum in Paris ’s outskirts city of Neuilly-sur-Seine to seek potential partners in their fields.

Phuc, who is also head of the Viet Nam – Laos Co-operation Sub-committee, informed his hosts of the results of the committee's 34th meeting.
During the past six months, both countries had seen positive co-operation in many fields, including economics, trade,investment, education, human resources development and culture, which helped bolster and promote solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos, said Phuc.
He added that the two sides had worked out a pilot strategy for Laos to implement a project funded by the Vietnamese Government as part of activities to mark the 2012 Viet Nam – Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year.
The Lao leaders noted with pleasure many activities during the 2012 Laos – Viet Nam Solidarity Year that created practical and considerable improvements to the solidarity and co-operation shown between both countries.
They said they believed that both countries' co-operation sub-committees would strive to bring two-way trade to US$1 billion this year and $2 billion by 2015.
They added that they hoped both sides would increase co-operation to bring the Viet Nam – Laos relationship to a new height.
