Vietnam’s Next Top Model’s four finalists lighten up the streets of southern Ho Chi Minh City with their latest photo album.

Hoang Thuy, Tra My, Le Thuy and Thuy Trang dressed up in colorful traditional ao dai and walked along downtown Ho Chi Minh City, which in these days has become much livelier with New Year decorations and street installations.

On January 8, Hoang Thi Thuy, a first-year student at the Hanoi University of Architecture topped the season 2 of Vietnam’s Next Top Model competition held at HCMC’s Phan Dinh Phung Stadium.

Thuy beat her two rivals, Le Thi Thuy and Nguyen Thi Tra Mi, to win a VND1 billion (US$50,000) contract with BeU Model and Talent Management Company, VND200 million ($10,000) in cash, a modeling course in Paris and a chance to be on the cover of renowned Singapore-based lifestyle magazine Her World.

This year’s competition started in November and attracted around 2,000 girls across the country.
