Bai Tu Long gears up for peak summer season
Bai Tu Long Bay in the northern province of Quang Ninh is expected to stun holiday-makers as various tours to explore the beautiful bay will be launched this summer.

They will begin with cultural and charity activities before going into the photography, talent and costume contests in the city and in Da Lat next Monday and Tuesday.
At the finale on September 25, they will model on the catwalk and appear in ao dai, swimsuits, and evening dresses.
The jury will choose the 10 best for the question and answer section that will wrap up the contest.
The judges as well as the audiences will vote for the top female and made contestants who will get trophies and cash prizes of VND150 million (US$7,200) each.
There will also be Most Photogenic, Best Appearance, and Favourite Fashion Model prizes in both sections.
Vuong Thu Phuong, one of the finalists, said the contest gave her the chance to become professional.
"[It] has made me more mature and confident," she said.
The Supermodel Contest is organised by Viet Nam Television, Cat Tien Sa Company and Thoi Trang Treûû (Youth Fashion) magazine.
This year's event attracted hundreds of amateur and professional models between the ages of 18 and 25, who took part in qualifying rounds in Ha Noi and HCM City at the end of last month. — VNS
