No Tobacco Day marked in Hanoi
The Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation jointly held a meeting in Hanoi on May 25 to mark the World No Tobacco Day (May 31) and launch the National No Tobacco Week (May 25-31).

The showroom covering 5,000 square meters on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, 2km from the city downtown, meets Hyundai’s standards for sales, services and spare parts. This is the 16th dealer of Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Auto Company, and the biggest showroom of Hyundai in the Mekong Delta.
Thanh Cong Group distributes various makes of Hyundai, including Elantra, Getz, i30, Sonata, Tucson, Santa Fe, Veracruz, EQUUS, and Genesis.
Saigon Can Tho Auto Joint Stock Co. also provides services for owners of imported Hyundai cars at the new showroom.
Hyundai cars will be assembled in Vietnam from year’s end as the Korean automaker’s distributor Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Auto Company has finished construction of an auto factory, said Nguyen Minh Phu, deputy general director of Hyundai Thanh Cong.
The US$80 million plant at Gian Khau industrial park in Gia Vien District in the northern province of Ninh Binh will be able to turn out 40,000 passenger cars and another 40,000 commercial cars a year.
